and for good measure, trash
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.seagate.notificationexec.plist

might want to search/investigate/destroy for other files w/ similar strings, but the app is the key

Safari Java/Javascript Broken in Snow Leopard?

This is an easy problem to fix.  Carolyn has the solution! “From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences then select the Security tab.

Where you see Web content; make sure the top 3 buttons are ticked.

If the buttons are checked… perhaps this isn’t a Java issue. Which sites are you having problems with???”

This could also be due to content filtering from your Internet Provider.  Call them if this solution doesn’t work.
